October is ADHD Awareness Month, but what comes after awareness?
Oct 09, 2025As many of you may know, October is ADHD Awareness Month.
But let’s be honest, you'd have to be living under a rock NOT to be aware.
If you’re a professional, creative, leader or caregiver living with ADHD, I would say that you are intimately aware of what it feels like to move through life with a brain that doesn’t quite fit the systems you were expected to succeed in.
None of us needs more surface-level lists telling you the “signs you might have ADHD" or "productivity hacks to fix your personality quirk".
You have most probably tried them all, and, most importantly, you have lived it. In your own unique way.
What we need now is something deeper. Something more honest.
That’s why this October, I’m not here to talk about ADHD as a superpower. I am also not here to buy into the theatre that many media platforms, both traditional/broadcast media and social media platforms, are using to create, essentially, an ADHD circus.
Recently, the Channel Seven Spotlight segment did an excellent job of getting it wrong. Over the next couple of weeks, I will be chatting with some of the experts I have in my Australasian ADHD Professionals Association (ADDPA) network to uncover some truths and reclaim the rhetoric.
I’m here to talk about what comes after awareness:
- Reclaiming your own ADHD rhythm
- Why ADHD needs acceptance, not just understanding
- The many faces of ADHD
- Reframing your identity from “too much” or “not enough” to “just right.”
For years, my group coaching program was called Thriving with ADHD. It made sense. But something felt off.
Because thriving doesn’t happen when we’re masking, overcommitting, or burning out in environments that aren’t built for us.
Thriving happens when we stop fighting our brain’s natural rhythm and start following it.
That’s why I’ve renamed the program:
Unstuck: Reclaim Your Rhythm™
This isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about freeing you.
Unstuck is a 6-week group coaching experience for professionals with ADHD who are ready to:
-
Understand their executive functioning profile
-
Build systems that support clarity, consistency, and calm
-
Let go of shame and self-judgment
-
Lead their lives from a place of self-trust, not survival mode
Our next group starts the week of October 28th.

If this isn’t for you right now, that’s okay. I’ll be spending October sharing strategies and stories to help you reconnect with your own rhythm. no pressure, just support.
So if you’re feeling stuck, misunderstood, or a little offbeat lately?
Maybe it’s not you.
Maybe it’s the rhythm you’ve been told to follow.
Let’s reclaim that together.
With warmth
Caroline
P.S. Reminder that at the end of October, I will kick off my new Unstuck: Reclaim Your Rhythm™ group coaching program — a small, supportive space for professionals with ADHD. If you’d like early access, you can join the waitlist here
